Disaster for The Sea Ranch?

June 2nd's election of officers for The Sea Ranch Association's Board of Directors provides more motivation for the National Parks Adventure. The Board is firmly in control of a group whose ability to manage their responsibilities without creating permanent wounds to The Sea Ranch vision and concepts is problematic. The decisions made today are likely to be costly - our assessments are likely to be 25% higher by 2013 and we're likely to have fewer services provided by a more expensive, less competent staff. Perhaps I'm overly pessimistic - I hope so - and being away on our adventure will create the space for a more positive view.
